BOOK TWO: chapter six: meet the new buddha!
[from Buddha Heruka and Buddha Manjushri] Lhamo Dorje (Lhamo Kalinga Tindley Dorje), emanates especially for these times. In this busy world, most people don't find much free time. Distractions abound, as do excuses. Sometimes we wish we had a little special help. Regardless of our religious (or non-religious) preferences, we all receive help - often … Continue reading BOOK TWO: chapter six: meet the new buddha!
enlightened beings make great friends!
ENLIGHTENED BEINGS MAKE GREAT FRIENDS How I Came To Love Being Teased I grew up very sensitive to teasing, mostly because I often didn’t get the jokes. I never understood how the hobby of embarrassing another person was amusing or useful, other than in a selfish way. It appeared to give some satisfaction to the … Continue reading enlightened beings make great friends!

It’s got the window you just used to get rid of all your un-helpful beliefs. It also has several floors, many, many rooms, a front door, a back door, and NO hearth. Your house … Continue reading BOOK TWO: chapter seven: finding love in yourself and otherself and others (part 2)

PART FIVE: Who Makes A Meaningful Partner? You’ve all been told by others what you should look for in a romantic partner. buddhas become all the time
Our New Best Friend Is A Buddha I’ve introduced you to my BF Heruka… I have another BF named Lhamo Dorje, and I feel I really need to give her some air time. This challenges me, because I come from a pretty traditional background, even for a Buddhist, and Lhamo Dorje hardly comes from tradition. … Continue reading buddhas become all the time
wanna dodge the bullet of buddhism?
Welcome to my irreverent post of the week. I didn’t dodge the bullet. The Buddhas winged me. Does the epithet “Buddha” make you want to read this post, or push you to click away? That word carries many connotations to many people; it simply designates an “Awakened One”, an Enlightened Being. It’s also convenient. I’m … Continue reading wanna dodge the bullet of buddhism?
