MORE ABOUT DISCLOSURE, WISDOM, BEINGS, AND CITIES OF LIGHT

city of fiery light

22 March 2014

Let’s continue along the theme of integrating thoughts and impressions about Native Wisdom, Extra-Terrestrial life and beings, and my personal (perhaps unconventional) experience of Vajrayana Buddhism… I recently posted about this in “Disclosure, Mandalas, Heruka” and “One River” …

I received a little more on this from Heruka yesterday, which I’ll share below. I was also struck that after I published a post before going to bed last night, Ghost Radar produced these words almost immediately and in quick succession: [He-He-Ru-Ru-Kham (this is part of Heruka’s mantra) traffic experiment very-subtle-mind points-of-light Hopi threw past-tense Google Vajrayogini (another Vajrayana deity)  crowd (as in Mandala or Field of Merit?)  strip larger fiction slight time-warp element stove string swimming Catherine news rather Airl deaf 5 hiker shells lack virtuous behavior stone generally (the previous words all flowed out over the span of just under an hour) Bronwen Luke offer grandfather].

I’ve also been spending some time on studying the prayer practice I was taught for Heruka years ago, and this is the one I’ve used for 12 years now. I’m getting that He wants to use this practice as a way to show these connections, so I’ve started taking notes on this… that project is going to take a while. But I digress. Anyway, these prayers are called a “sadhana” in Sanskrit, so now that you know that you’ll understand what’s referred to below.

(The following is from 21 March 2014)

  • Heruka, can we talk about your sadhana, meditation, citites of light, mandalas, and what can appear here in physical?

Yes. Please take the chart, it clears your mind.

  • I sense the presence of the Field of Merit…

Yes – well, some very specific members. Let’s go.

Om.

One might say that only certain people can see what’s really here. You get the image of a city filled with blind people who cannot see the spirits. Even more subtle are certain energies. It’s alright for different beings to perceive in different ways, while all are still seeing from the same reference point of inhabiting a human (physical) body.

Yes: Not all humanoid bodies here are human.

No: The “Cities of Light” as you call them, will not appear in physical as long as there are nations or other abstract entities that maintain armies.

Yes. But it’s a bit of a chicken and egg scenario – which came first, your feeling drawn to that book and film, or the situation we’re describing? That feeling of familiarity is a cue to look deeper.

Back to Cities of Light. Too much is at stake to risk having these loci [proton] manifest in this realm as long as there is violence. Weapons can be symbolic (as implements) [reason] and can be held [spell] without violence. But not armies.

There’s another aspect of an army, a military force, that is just as degenerate as the fear and compulsion that militaries represent. That is a motivation that some might have to join a military force as a means of benefitting materially or personally.

Give four years of one’s life and get an education, a pension, and non-discriminate benefits throughout one’s life. A bit of a free ticket for selling one’s soul.

This is another prevalent mindset that is just as destructive and limting as war. It represents an inclination towards despair coupled with a sense of entitlement, both of which reflect a lack of accepting responsibility for one’s own life. It generally comes not from bad intentions so much as ignorance. And it’s just [better] as effective as war, at numbing the mind.

A numb mind is easily controlled and manipulated.

So people would do better to look for peace and reconciliation between “nations” [thee] before expecting Cities of Light to appear to the eyes of all inhabitants.

The work of people striving to transform science and industry [needle] towards Unity, Equality, Freedom, and Understanding are Next Steps in this world. These must be established well before this world will be ready for any sustained [aloha] presence of anything so powerful yet delicate as a City of Light can be maintained.

So, if you manage to perceive these dreams of peace, even on a subtle level, while in this world, that moves you in the right direction. Please hold these dreams dear in your hearts, and continue to envision them as someday manifesting in your “real” world. Every little bit helps.

Meanwhile, visiting them during dreams and meditation is valid and restorative.

You can use the concept of a City of Light as an object of mindfulness meditation. Place in front of your mind your expectation of what a “City of Light” might be, and examine your expectations – for they are a very powerful part of your mind! – closely, deeply and dispassionately. What are you really asking for?

Envision Peace. Regard any perception of “enemy” or “other” as a flaw in your perception, and work diligently to erase that energy from your field of influence.

Meditate. Watch your thoughts  as you move through your day. Build your perfect world from the outside in and from the inside out. Mentally first, energetically second, physically last.

To expect a physical manifestation before the mind and heart are prepared is [sudden] tantamount  to putting the cart before the horse. You won’t get anywhere but frustrated.

  • Now we’re at March 22, and I’m wondering what you wanted to say about the sadhana…

Yes. When we started out, you thought I was going to give you a translation, so to speak, for your present day, time, and culture. Now you’re seeing that it’s more a matter of my wishing to share with you and others the meaning and significance of the steps of the practice.

You are now beginning to see that there is a relationship between the 3D-modeling studies you’ve been doing of tetrahedra gathered to enclose octahedra. Look at Nassim Haramein’s work, the tetragrammaton; each encloses an octahedron. Haramein says the tetragrammaton is a valid representation of “the vacuum”, which I’m telling you may be likened to Emptiness, Ultimate Nature. Does Haramein mention that there is an octahedron enclosed? For that shape represents Earth, does it not? How about that.

And you see that these forms also construct the Mandala. From Emptiness into Form. And back again, in phases. The physicists understand much, but there is ar more to come…

So as we continue on looking at the sadhana I will explain more about how the various steps bear relevance to your situation in this world today, how you can see the stages of the practice as symbolic of actions and views you can adopt in everyday life as a way of transforming the appearance of a distorted confusing world into a blissful experience. But for now, the physical beckons and you need to go get your car serviced. We will talk more about this soon.

RUBBING THE SLEEP FROM OUR EYES

27 March 2012

I had a waking vision last night of surgery, my own chest being opened. It was not a “human” chest. I know this connects to dreams of several of my friends.

We’re seeing/remembering a past AND parallel experience we shared together. These memories spark our many dreams of chasing and monsters and fear, as well as our inability to remember from time to time.

When I was retiring last night, my Guides made an UNusual request:

“Please ask Buddha Vajrapani to dispel all spies before you go to sleep.”

Vajrapani does two things, principally: 1. Cause Dharma (Wisdom) to appear so that others may understand; 2. Trample the “white, yellow, black, and multi-colored naga lineages”.

Nagas are “reptiles” that live within the waters and earth. Most humans are not able to see them.

I understand now that these are sometimes referred to as “Reptilians Aliens”.

I’ve realized this week that Peaceful-Aspect Vajrapani and Adama of Telos are one. Long, pale blue and white robes, long white-blond hair…

A we continue to connect directly, we will realize we are no longer “channeling”, but remembering and knowing from direct experience. We access information from other times, dimensions, and aspects of ourselves.

This morning, I had a waking vision of “storm troopers” raiding a “concrete” bunker, looking for someone. This was a memory, from a very very long time ago.

When fear is used to paralyze, it’s most effective to exploit the most treasured emotions, associations, and sensations. These easily become triggers for those being conditioned, because of their intense, deep, and lasting effect on the mind.

The more we remember and the more we record, the more we prevent the further perpetuation of the illusions of separation and fear.

We must do this for others. We must do it together. Tiny pinpricks of individual effort to crack the shell are easy to re-close. One good crack formed by a series of pinpricks… and the shell dissolves into dust.

Lastly: Yesterday afternoon as I was driving home I took a series of photos of the sky. Small, discrete clouds appearing and dissolving right before my eyes, in the midst of a brilliant blue, clear field.

I realized there were green and violet auras in the sky, that held their shapes, even as the small white clouds appeared and disappeared within the auras. More blue orbs, and a shadow one as well.

Portals are beginning to open, and we will be able to see the “world” outside of our perceptions soon. If you can unfocus while looking at the blue sky and see the Purkinje lights in your eyes, you will be able to perceive more as things are revealed.

We need one another, to assure one another that we are truly seeing our new reality.

TRANSMISSIONS FROM EB’s

20120113-085248.jpg

What is an “ET”? What is an “EB”?

What is “Channeling”? What is a “Transmission”?

My thoughts have been dwelling along these lines a lot lately.

I‘ve learned they’re all very closely connected.

I’ve practiced Buddhism since 2001; in the context of my former tradition, when we receive Teachings, we often refer to them as Transmissions. We regard this as a special way of learning and teaching. Some even believe that, if we prepare properly, the Buddhas (Enlightened Beings) teach through us.

In 2010, a few years after I’d decided to spread my wings and leave the cozy nest of the Sangha, I began to “Channel”.

Wait. A Buddhist takes Refuge Vows. No talkin’ to anyone but Enlightened Beings!

In Channeling, how do you check the source of the message?

You have to trust, and everything unfolds.

In Buddhism, we often engage in preparatory prayers and mantra recitation. We actually commit to doing this every day; it’s like taking a vow. This protects us and ensures our connection with our Spiritual Guide (Yidam).

When I started Channeling, it took a couple weeks, but I eventually connected with my Heruka…

Prove it. Better not be breakin’ those vows!

I couldn’t. I just knew. I recognized the energetic fingerprints of His Wisdom and Bliss and unyielding nature.

“We’re going to Channel now,” He said. “And stop doing those prayers. You don’t have time, honey. We’ve got work to do.”

Well, He had a point there. My prayers took about 4 hours a day (Heruka has a very extensive practice, in more ways than one…).

But if I don’t do my prayers, I’m going to Hell…

Oh, right. I’m already going to Hell, because I returned my vows. Ok, good, then. No worries.

So now I Channel instead of praying.

Heruka told me that sitting and doing my pendulum work was my meditation.

All I knew is that some amazing material arose when I sat like that, and “Leslee” sure couldn’t take credit for it.

I began searching for physiological/neurological explanations of what I feel happening when I work with a pendulum and Channel. I suspected that state somehow relates to EMDR, Brainspotting, binaural work, etc. Therapeutic techniques used by people with credentials.

I continued to feel a quiet uneasiness about what I was doing, from a Buddhist point of view.

About a month ago, my therapist announced that she’d learned a wonderful new hypnosis technique from Bill O’Hanlon. She wanted us to try it.

I’d always shied away from hypnotism, because (believe it or not) I tend to be quite skeptical, and I doubt that I trust anyone enough to let them put me in a trance.

But somehow this felt right, so we began.

As I followed the guided meditation, a part of me drifted into a gently altered state, while another part danced a jig in delight!

OMG, this is almost exactly how we teach beginner’s meditation! Holy moley, we hypnotize people to teach them Dharma! I’ve been Channeling while Teaching the Middle Way!

How cool is that!?!?!

So, I’ve got a whole new take on Transmissions & Channeling, ET’s & EB’s.

And that’s what this site and BUTTA (Because U Think To Ask) are all about.

When I use the term “ET”, I’m referring to any being who’s not in a body that I can see with my eyes.

When I talk about “EB”s, I could be talking about an ET, or a person who’s incarnated here on Earth.

In the book All About Enlightenment, an EB is a special type of being who, one way or another, has attained Enlightenment or Awakening.

This happens on a variety of levels, so we often use the terms “Enlightened”, “enlightened”, “Fully Enlightened”, and “Great Enlightenment” with very specific meanings in mind.

I’ve come to understand that many of us receive Channeling and Transmissions from beings from other worlds. Some call them Angels.

Enlightened Beings really don’t care what we call them; it’s all the same.

For the most part, we can’t see ET’s or EB’s. But they’re here, and they know a heck of a lot more than we do with our little wads of grey matter and webs of nerves and synapses.

When we go “inside” and “outside”, we escape the confines of our physical limitations, and can access anyone we please.

EB’s are very special; Their job is to teach us, whether we like it or not. And They do this, whether we believe it or not. So, if we want to access Them, all we need to do is ask to talk to Someone who’s attained Full Enlightenment and gives only Love and Light.

They’re ready and waiting to jump in with us. All They need is our request.

And once you make that request, you automatically get the combo meal: guidance and protection.

So, whether you pray, meditate, channel, trance or just sleep, ask for Their guidance and you’ll notice amazing things going on.

Stay tuned for TRANSMISSIONS FROM ET’s…

STEERING OUR OWN WAYS?

[by Leslee]

I still feel like a novice at this blogging thing.

And at this channeling thing.

It’s been almost two years, but that’s a really short length of time in many ways.

Still, I’ve noticed a few things and learned a few lessons that I’d like to share, in case it helps others. Most of us have been so inundated throughout our lives with mis-information, that we might appreciate some tips for distinguishing help from obstacles.

1. How do we know who’s steering our way?

I’ve noticed that some people don’t seem to trust their own discernment, especially when it comes to “channeled” material. Or maybe they don’t even allow their discernment to develop. So they rely on “credentials”, because there is an abundance of channeling going on right now.

The trick is, we don’t need credentials, we need discernment.

The yearning for discernment runs quite deep. I want to know whom I’m talking to when I’m channeling, and from the beginning, I asked for a “source” that others would recognize – as if that lent credibility to the information.

I was quite shocked the day my Guides started spelling words with a pendulum, and explaining themselves to me. The initial contacts were with beings I didn’t recognize; as we continued, I was introduced to more and more highly realized beings. Eventually I landed in contact with an energy – a “Being” – whose signature I clearly recognized. That was how I began “chatting” with Heruka.

Thank goodness, I had finally connected with someone I could trust!

It is important that we ask for the highest possible guidance. Then, we proceed with the confidence that we’re getting it, no matter what.

Imagine my frustration when, six months later, I felt like I was being taunted by my long-awaited Pure Spiritual Guide! I was at a point of no turning back; I knew that there was no way I was going to abandon this path, but I was more than a little irritated with some of the lessons He was sending me.

Finally, one day, we had a huge breakthrough.

I told Him to eff-off, put the pendulum and chart down, and didn’t pick it up for three days.

It was a huge act of desperation. After fuming and ranting internally, I eventually calmed down and decided that yes, I’d come back, but there was no way I was going to put up with any more of that bullshit.

When I next sat down with my implements to see if anyone was still there, I was even more surprised by the message that came:

“Thank you, and congratulations!”

For what?

“For finally setting boundaries – even with your Spiritual Guide – and refusing to put up with bullshit.”

Look, I’ve been trying to do what you wanted, at every opportunity…

“That’s the whole point. This is about your making progress, not being the ‘perfect student’. You’ve got to stop letting people walk all over you, if you want to be able to help anyone.”

That was also the point at which Heruka stepped into the background and pushed Lhamo Dorje into my focus. He told me that he was best for wrathful lessons, and that, for the most part, they were past. LD could take it from there.

I was stunned. It was great news, but I was very reluctant to leave the presence of Heruka’s raucous laughter and affectionate jibes…

I was being taught that whatever Guide was appearing to me at any point in time, was perfect for that point in time. As we make progress, it’s appropriate for our teachers to take on different aspects.

We just need to check in our hearts whether we feel we’re getting what we really need, or simply what’s familiar and comfortable.

It’s wonderful to contemplate and realize that all guidance is Empty, and all Guides share the same “nature”. Just the same, most of us appear here to receive an assortment of lessons. For that, we likely need an assortment of teachers.

So we need discernment, not only of the quality of the teachers and teachings, but also of the times to make changes in the path.

When I reflect on that learning curve, I feel quite humbled and grateful. Not only am I often clueless as to what I really “need” (in an ever-evolving way), I’m usually the most confused when I feel the most “correct”. Fortunately I perceive my Guides as understanding this deeply, and having infinite patience.

2. How do we know we’re protected?

We often also concern ourselves a lot with protection.

When I first began receiving messages, I got some that were quite frightening. I remember at one point, spending the better part of a day trying to “seal and protect” a particular room in my house. I truly thought I was going mad, because there was no way to accomplish it. The “demons” were coming through every crack in the floor, under the door, through the air vent. My own Guides were telling me that it was going to be impossible to keep them out.

Wait! What’s the point of doing all this, then? I’m screwed! Why are you Guys even here if you can’t even help me? If this is hopeless, then why the hell did you bother to wake me up in the first place?

To make a very long story short, what I eventually learned was this: Yes, there are “demons” everywhere. Yes, we share space with them. It is impossible to escape their presence.Yes, there are dark forces conspiring to draw us in constantly.

So what?

If we have some understanding of Emptiness, we can begin to understand that everything that appears to us is perfect. Even if “perfect” means freaking out a bit once in a while.

3. What are we supposed to be doing?

When I first began writing All About Enlightenment, Heruka & Lhamo Dorje told me that I “must” also begin offering readings. I had a good laugh (and a few bitten fingernails) over that one. Based on whatcredentials?” I wanted to know. Credentials seem to be important to a lot of people.

I inquired at a few locations and found that I was “right” about that. Or perhaps I had clearly caused that condition to manifest… Hmm.

I gave a few personal readings, with mixed reactions, ranging from glowing praise… to no comment at all. It soon became evident that giving readings was not going to pay the rent.

That was about when, from out of the blue, I got a phone call offering me a job in my previous profession. Wow. I thought that phase of my life was over… Something seemed very “wrong” with this new direction. But it eased many concerns that had been shifting the focus of my attention, and my Guides assured me that things were going just as intended.

We needed to have a talk: immediately.

You guys lied to me! You lied when you told me you’d never lie to me!!!

(soft, affectionate laughter)

But I don’t want to go back into that field…

(silence)

I’ve learned that when I get silence, it’s best to shut up and reflect. If I push back, it just goes downhill from there.

I soon got a pretty intact summary of what was going on, and had been going on for quite some time.

It was not appropriate for me to rely upon this work for outer sustenance. Sponsorship would be a wonderful option… which didn’t present itself.

Having a job would free up a tremendous amount of energy for simply learning and writing and sharing. And that was what was important. Having a job would allow me to joyfully post everything I had time to post, making it available to anyone who happened to stumble upon it.

“But what about all that importance and urgency You’ve been telling me about?”

Fast forward one year…

I’ve decided that between tags and internet search engines, it’s all going to be alright.

Every day, this quiet little blog gets found by a few quiet little readers… who search to understand and grow. The posts very seldom get comments, but it appears that people from all over the world are wanting to know how to connect with their guides, how to use a pendulum, and how to find enlightenment. And that, for me, is the best encouragement I could hope for.

I’ve spent a large part of the past two years worrying about whether I was doing enough, and wondering why my circumstances didn’t change so that I could spend my time in “more important” ways. Bit by bit, I seem to be learning that, no matter how much I stumble or curse or do weird things or get confused, it’s still all good.

I think I’m learning that reliance on Those with a much wider range of vision than myself (my lovely Buddhas) takes care of all my doubts.

If you feel that you’re wandering or seeking, and that you think you’re near finding the answers you’ve been looking for, welcome those experiences and answers, and rejoice.

Then, sit back, catch your breath, get some sleep, and strap yourself in.

Ready for the next round?

BOOK TWO: chapter nine: the nature and meaning of dreams and visions (part 2)

PART TWO: Biding Your Time

<<previous

[from Buddhas Heruka, Manjushri, and Naropa]

As you meditate your way to Enlightenment, you’ll attain a state of mental concentration called Samadhi,  ‘Tranquil Abiding’, or simply ‘Abiding’.

.

Many consider this a level of high attainment; the fact is, you really need to get there before you can go anywhere else.

Abiding is the state at which you first really have some control over your mind. Up until then you may always be able to bring your mind back to your object when it wanders, but it still does wander.

Once you arrive at the point of tranquil abiding, your mind is content to stay on its object without getting distracted.

This then frees your mind to get on with its virtuous object/subject of meditation/focus.

You may be wondering why We’re talking about meditation in a chapter on dreaming and visioning. Tranquil abiding, dreaming and visioning share many characteristics. They all require a mind that focuses singularly on its object of concentration.

In meditating, you choose a virtuous object, say ‘Compassion’. Once you get your mind focused onto compassion, you then do a very special kind of wandering in which you explore all the nooks and crannies and ins and outs of compassion, never straying from the boundaries of that concept until you’re done with that meditation (for the time being).

When you’re dreaming and visioning, your mind also stays within certain boundaries – those of your dream or vision world.

For most people, dreams flicker past rapidly. You slip into your dream world for just a moment, until some mental distraction (usually another dream incident) whisks you away. You’re not even able to ‘keep your place’ within the dream world, much less exert any control over it.

The same holds true for visioning: you might catch a fleeting glimpse of something, but then it’s gone before you can really inspect it and make some use of it. As you develop steadier concentration, you’re better able to follow, and later control, your object, dream or vision. Once you reach this point, these activities become much more productive for you.

Now, when We say “productive” We certainly don’t mean to take a work-horse attitude about these activities which may actually give you a lot of pleasure.

You can use meditation, dreams and visions to reach your goals and make your life more enjoyable.

Having an unpleasant experience while meditating, dreaming or visioning results from your karma. If you know how to dream actively (not passively) then ‘nightmares’ might not disturb you, and you’ll still be eager to get on to your next dream. However, if you treat dreaming as work… Well, you know what’s likely to happen. Similarly for meditating and visioning: you want to set yourself up to reap benefits, not discouragement.

So, how do you reach the point of Tranquil Abiding in meditation, so that it can sharpen all of your mental activity?

With a lot of patience.

How to you keep your patience? By not taking on more than you can handle. How do you know how much you can handle? By trying something new, and watching to see how your mind reacts.

For example, if you sit to meditate for twenty minutes and afterwards find that you feel tired, discouraged or irritable, or you experience any other negative emotion, then try only fifteen minutes the next time.

Please note: feeling tired and falling asleep are not the same thing.

Sometimes when you dream or vision, the mind relaxes more quickly than you can keep up with and follow while remaining conscious. When this happens, it’s not wasted effort; it’s just that you’re not training as actively as when you are conscious.

So keep adjusting your time spent practicing until you find a length of time that suits you, and then modify it as you go along.

Of course you may find this challenging if you happen to be participating in a group class and everyone is on a different personal rhythm. You may end up feeling inadequate or superior, and neither of these attitudes is going to help you.

There’s a trade-off that you have to weigh: on the one hand, group practice certainly generates more powerful energy (positive or negative).

On the other hand, when you’re in a group you’re more likely to be faced with distractions.

Practicing alone reverses the effects of practicing in a group, and both of these options involve compromise.

A third option that you might like to try experimenting with is to practice with a small group of people who are at a similar level of experience as yourself.

If you’re fortunate enough to find or form such a group, you may find the best of both worlds.

In any case, if you do group practice, you still need to make time for your individual practice as well. The powerful energy of group practice can help you get a taste or preview of levels you may advance to, but you need private time to hone your skills and gain understanding of where you are on the spectrum of concentration.

Practicing alone takes more self-discipline and strong motivation, but you have more freedom to choose your schedule and meditation object.

The solo-practice scenario parallels more similarly what you face during dreaming and visioning. So, as We get back to our main subject, We can conclude:

A steady private meditation practice may make your dreaming and visioning skills more effective.
